Brown Sandwich
When in hurry, trust
on sandwich. A sandwich can either be layered or can be open. It can be power
packed with nutritional ingredients and can be easily used for packing. on
vegetarian may choose boiled eggs, roasted chicken, tuna and more. I am
presenting a vegetarian version with homemade healthy dip.
Ingredients/Filling:-
Onions(chopped):
2nos.
Mixed
bellpeppers(chopped): 2nos.
Mushrooms(sliced):
150 grams
Cabbage (chopped):
1no. Small
Carrot (grated): 1
Cottage
cheese(chopped): 100grams
Brown bread slices
- 10
Oil: 1tsp
Spread:-
Hung yoghurt: 2tblspn
Cottage cheese: 100grams
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Mint leaves (chopped)- handful
Method:-
Saute all vegetables in 1tsp oil on high flame for 2 minutes. Keep it aside and let it cool. Blend hung yoghurt and cottage cheese with mint or powdered mustard. Mix all vegetables with the spread and add salt and pepper just before grilling the sandwiches. Non vegetarians may add boiled egg or shredded grilled chicken. Serve hot with choice of dip.
